The current research examines the determinants of three aspects of food security in Pakistan that are food availability, accessibility and absorption. For this purpose a models is applied on household level data. The consumption of food related items relates positively with food security. Some other factors like infant mortality and sick person relates negatively with food security. For this purpose primary data approach was used. A representative sample of 90 respondents from high populated city (Lahore) of Pakistan The data about explanatory variables collected through questionnaire.
