We have measured the depolarization factor for gaseous helium at 296 K for densities up to 250 amagat. We deduce the low density value of the depolarization factor and we compare it with theoretical values obtained using various intermolecular potentials and various polarizability anisotropies.Nous avons mesuré le facteur de dépolarisation de l'hélium gazeux à 296 K pour des densités allant jusqu'à 250 amagat. Nous en déduisons une valeur du facteur de dépolarisation à basse densité que nous comparons aux valeurs théoriques obtenues pour différents potentiels intermoléculaires et différentes anisotropies de polarisabilité
