In order to increase the quality of surface treatments of metallic materials by laser, we realized a device able to focuse a laser beam in a rectangular spot with an energy repartition more or less homogeneous depending of the wished treatments. Thermal treatments have already been realized with this device. This work using some reducing assumptions wants also compute a code leading to the determination of the temperature fields during laser treatments with this kind of device. The usual calculations considering incident laser beam as a beam with homogeneous or Gaussian energy repartition do not give indeed correct results in this case.
