We discuss electrical transport measurements performed on thin films of four different metal phthalocyanines doped with Potassium atoms. The temperature dependence of the conductivity shows that a metallic state occurs on a wide range of doping concentrations for all the four molecules. The occurence of the metallic state is confirmed by scanning tunneling spectroscopy. Key words. Metal phthalocyanine – band filling – metal – insulator transition
