Nosso objetivo é encontrar limitantes para a probabilidade de que o tamanho da epidemia não sobrepasse certa proporção do número inicial de suscetíveis. Iniciamos apresentando as definições e a dinâmica do processo de epidemia determinístico. Obtemos um valor limiar para o número inicial de suscetíveis para que a epidemia exploda ou não.
