The authors have used the metastability transfers observed in mercury vapor between atoms in the 6 1S0 and 6 3P 0 levels to orient or align atoms of the odd isotopes in the 6 3P0 level. The Landé g factors measured by magnetic resonance are : 201g(6 3P0) = 0.351 058(16) x 10-3 199g(6 3P 0) = - 0.950 319(26) x 10-3. The precision of the experiment is improved in comparison with the results previously obtained.
