The 17m diameter MAGIC telescope is in commissioning phase now. MAGIC is the worldwide largest air Cherenkov imaging telescope and is located on the Canary island of La Palma on the mountain altitude of 2200m a.s.l.. For the first time MAGIC will allow one to perform measurements of very high energy cosmic gamma ray sources below 100 GeV energy regime. The current status of the telescope is reported below
