We discuss new, theoretically clean strategies to determine the angle γ of the unitarity triangle from B d → DK S(L), B s → D η (′), D φ, ... decays, and point out that B s → DK S(L) and B d → D π 0, D ρ 0, ... modes allow very interesting determinations of the B 0 q –$\overline{B^0_q}$ mixing phases φ s and φ d , respectively. Their colour-allowed counterparts $\ensuremath B_s\to D_s^{(\ast)\pm} K^\mp, ...$ and $\ensuremath B_d\to D^{(\ast)\pm} \pi^\mp, ...$ also offer new methods to probe γ. PACS: 12.15.Hh – 13.25.H
