On the basis of a general geometric argument predictions are given for exponent doubling near critical double points of polymer solutions and polymer mixtures. Since for the latter systems mean-field theory of the Flory-Huggins type is supposed to be applicable the predictions are verified within the framework of this theory. Special attention is given to complications arising from the polydispersive character of polymers.
