The Neotropical psyllid Heteropsylla cubana Crawford (Homoptera: Psyllidae), having become a major pest of Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) De Wit (Leguminosae: Mimosaceae) in New Caledonia, is being subjected to attempted control by the ladybird beetle Olla v-nigrum (Mulsant).
