Some attempts to predict a very distant future of radio astronomy are presented. It is not easy to foresee a list of the first priority problems which may appear, but the potential of research facilities is more predictable. It is suggested that in addition to the “dedicated for radio astronomy” facilities, the instrumentation of radio astronomy may be extended greatly by integration with the next generation “standard living” facilities, integrated via People-to-People communications through global networks and by incorporating of the “natural facilities", such as gravitational lenses, maser amplification in the ISM etc. As an example of the extreme cases of the 109 m2 class of the new generation Radio Telescopes, utilization of the persona...
