The authors present a new type of DC-to-DC converter using resonant circuits properties. DC ope-ration theoretical analysis determines the DC-to-DC conversion ratio and gives characteristics and limitations of these converters. The modelling, leading to small signal transfer functions, provides the output voltage and the switching frequency which represent the converter dynamic behaviour.
