As it is known that a satellite is magnetically equivalent to a dipole, every satellite what is orbiting in magnetic space will be subject to a torquing-effect. This torque can be used to set-up the attitude of the satellite. In other cases a perturbation should be observed in the attitude produced by this magnetic effect. Consequently, by means of a measurement of the over-all vectorial magnetic moment, a computation of the corresponding attitude variations is possible. This measurement will be performed in a magnetic space-simulation laboratory.
