The use of a non destructive method for determining the index profile of a waveguide is imperative. We compare here 2 different methods that can be used for this purpose, show a very good agreement between the methods, and explain why they are complementary.Disposer d'une méthode non destructive de caractérisation d'un guide d'ondes lumineuses est indispensable.
