The wall which separates two magnetic domains with head-on magnetization is studied. Magnetostatic energy of such a wall is calculated from a model of magnetization distribution suggested by experiment ; its optimal width is computed. We report on the experimental results concerning these walls which has been found to be in good agreement with the theory.
