Luminescence spectra of the noble gases He, A, Kr and Xe are studied under excitation by α rays. It is shown that the energy is transfered from excited levels of these gases to Hg and N2 impurities for impurity concentrations respectively less than 10-6 and 10—4 . These results confirm previous measurements concerning the period of luminescence and its variations versus nitrogen concentration in noble gases.On étudie les spectres de luminescence des gaz rares He, A, Kr et Xe excités par une source intense de rayons α.
