In the framework of the Omont-Gay theory, the authors calculate the effects (relaxations and transfers) of rare-gas collisions against mercury atoms in either of two very close levels 6 1D2 and 6 3D1. Zero external magnetic field is first considered A previous calculation (J. Physique 41 (1980) 503), which was carried out with the wrong sign of the anisotropic part of the effective potential, is now performed with the right sign. The results of both calculations are compared with available experimental data.
