Wall losses due to viscosity and heat conduction in rigid-walled waveguides are studied. An experimental method more exact than usual methods is used. For a rectangular tube, it is shown that the experimental results are in satisfactory agreement with the theory.On étudie le problème de l'atténuation d'ondes acoustiques se propageant dans un guide rigide, par suite de la viscosité et de la conduction thermique. On utilise une méthode expérimentale plus précise que celles employées habituellement et on montre, dans le cas de l'air et d'un guide rectangulaire, l'accord entre les résultats expérimentaux et les prévisions d'une théorie détaillée
