It was shown that the mixed oxides are suitable carriers for supported Pt catalysts. The catalytic performances of the catalysts were evaluated in the reaction of stem methane reforming (SMR) and partial oxidation of methane (POM). The effect of the support kind on the surface and structural properties, as well as on the redox and catalytic behavior of the catalyst was studied.
