A study is presented of the electric charges of individual droplets of water or salt-solution, the diameter of the droplets beeing between one and one hundred microns. If the vapour pressure of the droplet is the same as that of surrounding air, the droplet seems to carry only a small charge, possibly related to its diameter. If the vapour pressure of the droplet is not in equilibrium with that of air, evaporation of water from the droplet produce negative charge ; on the other hand, condensation of water vapour on the droplet produce charge of opposite sign. An attempt is mode to explain these results. On présente une étude de la charge électrique de gouttelettes d'eau ou de solutions salines, isolés, de diamètre compris entre un et une cen...
