Eight new species of Cissus from Bahia, Brazil, and the Amazon basin are described and illustrated: C. bahiensis, C. decidua, C. paucinervia, C. compressiflora, C. glaucotricha, C. peruviana, C. pseudofuliginea, and C. ursina.
