A program, called AC, has been developed in Turbo Pascal to calculate the elemental compositions of ions produced in low resolution mass spectra by analysis of the isotope patterns. The program compares calculated intensities with experimentally determined intensities and lists the best matches. It also allows for subtraction of overlapping patterns.15214915
