This article examines the interweaving of issues related to nation, politcs, exile and conflict in social processes experienced by Brazil in the 1960 and '70s, inserted in general frameworks of the so-called historical period of the Cold War. To do so, I will start with categories associated with these issues convened by the memories of brazilian political exiles in the construction of narratives about critical events experienced by them over the "lead years".14236938
