IThe model for the calculation of effective thermal parameters in two-layer structure in photoacoustic phenomena proposed in previous works [1-4] is used for defining and calculating the effective optical parameters. The concept of effective optical absorption coefficient will naturally emerge from the model when a heat source, depending on the position and the optical absorption coefficient, is taken into account. Results for the static limit shows that, in general case, the effective optical absorption coefficient value depends on the effective thermal conductivity, and it is different for rear-surface and front-surface illumination configurations.
