Longitudinal sound velocity was measured in bcc 3He crystals at frequencies of 10, 30 and 50 MHz as a function of temperature. Above 0.4 K, the velocity always decreased with increasing temperature and no systematic dependence on frequency was observed. The result was interpreted by taking into account the contribution of vacancies to the sound velocity
