This is a descriptive study with the objective to assess the level of satisfaction of puerperas with the nursing care provided in rooming-in settings and to verify whether this satisfaction differ regarding some demographic and obstetric variables. For data collection, the Patient Satisfaction Instrument and the demographic and obstetric characterization form were used. Participants were 187 puerperas with average age of 26.1 years. From this sample, 27.8% were primiparous, 34.8% secundiparous and 37.4% multiparous, with a predominance of vaginal delivery.
