In this work, the torque control problem of the induction machine is addressed. The commonly accepted vector control scheme which involves the feed-forward of the slip frequency is substituted by a new approach, where the slip frequency is introduced in the input vector of a state space representation. The resulting system model is controlled by a robust state feedback control technique that considers the non-linearities and non-stationarities as systems uncertainties. Thus, this method provides system stability and torque reference tracking all over the machine operating range. Besides that, the feedback controller guarantees null steady state error performance even under the machine parameters variation.31533153
