L'étude du projet d'un cyclotron à focalisation par quatre secteurs séparés (SuSe) pour protons et ions lourds d'une énergie maximale de 450 MeV et 300 MeV/u respectivement (pour les ions avec Q/A = 0.5) et avec une qualité excellente du faisceau est en cours. Les aimants des secteurs comprennent deux grandes bobines supra-conductrices (angle du secteur 50 degrés, rayon extérieur 2,8 m), deux couches de bobines correctrices, des pôles en fer refroidis et un circuit magnétique chaud (300 tn). Le champ maximal sera 4,8 T.
