CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC AND MAGNETIC STUDY OF SOLID SOLUTIONS Gd2(Fe14-xCox)B, Gd2(Co14-xMnx)B, Dy2Fe14BHx, Y2Fe14BHx AND Lu2Fe14BHx

Quelques caractéristiques structurales et magnétiques de solutions solides de type Nd2Fe14B sont présentées ici. Le cobalt se substitue au fer de façon continue de Gd2Fe14B à Gd2Co14B ; le volume de la maille et l'aimantation diminuent, θc augmente de 668 K à 1040 K, la direction de facile aimantation est parallèle à l'axe c jusqu'à Gd2Fe6Co8B (à 290 K). Le manganèse se substitue au cobalt dans Gd2Co14B jusqu'à Gd2Co10Mn4B, entraînant l'augmentation du volume de la maille, de fortes variations d'aimantation et la diminution de θc. L'insertion de l'hydrogène dans Y2Fe14B, Dy2Fe14B et Lu2Fe14B augmente le volume de la maille, le point de Curie et l'aimantation (ainsi que l'anisotropie dans le cas de Dy2Fe14BHx).Some structural and magnetic features of Nd2Fe14B - type solid solutions are reported here. Cobalt is continuously substituted for iron from Gd2Fe14B to Gd2Co14B ; the unit cell volume and magnetization decrease, θc increases from 668 K to 1040 K, the easy direction of magnetization turns from parallel into perpendicular to c axis for a cobalt content higher than Gd2Fe6Co8B (at 290 K). Manganese substitution for cobalt in Gd2Co14B is limited to the composition Gd2Co10Mn4B, leading to an increase of the unit cell volume, strong magnetization variations and decreasing of Curie point. Hydrogen insertion in Y2Fe14B, Dy2Fe14B and Lu2Fe14B increases the lattice parameters, θc and magnetization (and anisotropy in the case of Dy2Fe14BHx)
