APPROCHE STATISTIQUE DE LA DYNAMIQUE LINGUALE EN FRANÇAIS - APPLICATION AUX VOYELLES NASALES

The aim of this work is to study the lingual dynamics through cineradiographic data of the nasal French vowels using statistical model. Knowing that vocal phonems can be either reinforced or unaccentuated, we introduced a statistical approach with dispersion coefficients and confidence intervals : this approach allows to get a numerical evaluation of the successive positions of the lingual articulator on the axes corresponding to the maximal constriction. We note a quantitatively greater articulatory stability in the case of the reinforced phonems. This is shown due to the concentration of the values, especially if we considere the period of the phonematic realization.La présente étude a pour objet l'évaluation au plan statistique de la dynamique linguale en français à partir des données cinéradiographiques relevées pour les voyelles nasales. Procédant d'une démarche contrastive - les phonèmes vocaliques étant tantôt inaccentués, tantôt renforcés -, nous intégrons les données articulatoires à une approche statistique faisant intervenir des coefficients de dispersion et des intervalles de confiance. Cette approche nous permet d'aboutir à une évaluation chiffrée des positionnements successifs de l'articulateur lingual sur l'axe où se produit la constriction maximale. Nous dégageons de façon quantifiée une plus grande stabilité articulatoire dans les cas de renforcement, traductible statistiquement par une concentration des valeurs plus marquée, d'autant plus accusée que l'on prend en compte la durée de réalisation phonématique
