PRÉDICTION ET ANALYSE DES PERFORMANCES DES SALLES DE SPECTACLE : IDENTIFICATION DES ÉCHOS À L'AIDE D'UNE BASE D'ONDELETTES ORTHOGONALES

Dans le présent travail, nous proposons une méthode quelque peu nouvelle pour tester les performances d'une salle. Elle est basée sur l'idée que, dans tout sondage acoustique, l'expérimentateur est maître du signal qu'il émet, et de la méthode d'analyse du signal transmis. Les ondelettes orthogonales semblent être un excellent outil de sondage (ce sont des signaux faciles à émettre avec les transducteurs électromécaniques classiques), et d'analyse (leur largeur de bande peut être adaptée au problème envisagé ; leur pouvoir séparateur temporel est connu à l'avance).This paper is devoted to a rather new method for testing the acoustic performances of a room. It is based on the idea that, for any acoustic investigation, the physicist can chose the emitted signal together with the method for analysing the transmitted signal.
