Introduction. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a CNS demyielin disease. The main disturbs are intense fatigue, balance disturb and ataxy. Objectives. To evaluate the physical therapy effects on the balance and quality of life of MS patients. Methods. This study was analytic and interventional, the patients were randomized in two groups: Group 1: submitted in a fifteen sessions of physical therapy program, three times per week; and Group 2: participated in a conventional physical therapy program once a week.
