Objective: To evaluate excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) of Dom Bosco Catholic University Modular Courses secondary level teachers. Method: 1,061 secondary level teachers filled out the standard Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS). Results: EDS prevalence was 30.3% in the teachers's population. There was no significative difference in the total ESS index between the marital status goups by statistic variance analysis. There was no correlation between EDS measured by total ESS and height (p = 0.792), last night total sleep time (p = 0.678); and the time to go to bed (bed time) (p = 0.678).
