α-Tricalcium phosphate bone cement, as formerly designed and developed by Driessens et al., consists of a powder composed by α-tricalcium phosphate (α-TCP) and hydroxyapatite (HA) seeds, and an aqueous solution of Na2HPO4 as mixing liquid.
