This work shows a computational system, called AUXILIAR, which is used in the development and implementation of online courses, and explores its potential to conduct the student's formative assessment in the teaching-learning process. It shows how a computational tool can help to reduce the school space-time limitations that usually limit the attainment of educational objectives.
