Background: Hepatitis may cause liver cell damage due to the oxidation processes and can be inhibited by antioxidant components. Antioxidant acts as hepatoprotector by slowing down the oxidation process. Leunca fruits (Solanum nigrum Linn) contain antioxidants such as vitamin C and flavonoid.
