The present invention refers to a pharmaceutical composition for a local anesthetic gel intended for topical use in dental procedures. The pharmaceutical composition comprises a pharmaceutically effective amount of at least one anesthetic and at least one gelling agent, said composition having a minimum viscosity of 30 Pa. s, 5ºC to 50ºC.
