HUBUNGAN EFIKASI DIRI DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI SISWA SMA ISLAM MALANG KELAS X

ABSTRAK Abstract : Self-efficacy is important for students in the learning process, since self-efficacy affects students’ learning behavior, which determines how much effort and how long they can stand toward something against their beliefs. The encouragement to learn and do all the tasks driven by the mental strength of desire, or motivation. Ten grade students of high school are teenagers. Teens have self-efficacy that tends to decrease as compared to the children, so there is likely to affect achievement motivation. The purposes of this study are to determine: 1) self efficacy of ten grade students of Malang Islamic high school, 2) high school students’ achievement motivation, and 3) the relationship of self-efficacy and achievement motivation of the students. The design of the research is correlation research design. The population in the study is X-grade high school students, purposive sampling technique used as the technique to collect the data which obtain 90 subjects of research. Self-efficacy and achievement motivation scales are used as research instruments. Descriptive analysis (percentage) and product moment correlation analysis are used for data analysis.
