This research was conducted in order to know whether the application of English songs can improve the students’ pronunciation ability. The researcher applied quasi experimental research design. The researcher used purposive sampling technique in choosing the research sample. The data were collected by using tests only. The result of data analysis showed that the tcounted (21.20) was higher than the ttable (2.006) by applying 0.05 level of significance and the degree of freedom (df) 55. It means that the application of English songs as a teaching technique can improve the students’ pronunciation ability especially in pronouncing dental and alveopalatal sounds.Key words: Pronunciation; English Songs; Dental and Alveopalata
