The objective of this research was to increase the students’ reading comprehension through the application of edutainment approach. The population of this research was the second year students of SMA Negeri 1 Sojol, which were divided into four (4) parallel classes. The writer took two classes as the samples by employing random sampling techniques. The classes were XI IPA 1 (Experimental class) and XI IPA 2 (Control class). The pre-test, post-test design was used in the research. After getting the mean score of both experimental and control class in pre-test and post-test, the writer analyzed the data by using the t-test formula in order to test whether or not the mean scores of the students were significantly different as the result of the...
