Negros em Garopaba-SC : experiência quilombola nas comunidades da aldeia e do Morro do Fortunato

This work presents observations about the experiences of the residents of the Remnants Communities of the Quilombos Morro do Fortunato and Aldeia, both located in the municipality of Garopaba - SC. Discussions involve the historical constitution of the groups and aspects that ensured cohesion and permanence in these spaces. In this sense, we heard the memories of residents of the surrounding communities, as well as, looking through these narratives to present the events that made possible such formation. In order to know the formation groups, there was a reconstitution of the transformations experienced in Garopaba since its founding to the present, identifying the place of the african-brazilians in this dynamic, giving visibility to them, unlike other approaches that have been published about this place. During the study, we tried to emphasize aspects of the day by day experiences of the groups, giving special attention to the different festivities that contribute to keep alive the ties with the known experiences. These studies cover african-brazilian issues prominent in the contemporary times. Thus, to give theoretical support to the research, we worked with the following categories: Identity / Identification, Memory and Experiences. The identitary construction of these groups is not naturally given, it is constructed through choices and clashes, i.e., today there is a constant struggle for visibility and recognition.Este trabalho apresenta considerações acerca das experiências dos moradores das Comunidades Remanescentes dos Quilombos Morro do Fortunato e Aldeia, ambos localizados no município de Garopaba - SC. As discussões giram em torno da constituição histórica dos grupos e dos aspectos que garantiram a coesão e permanência nestes espaços. Nesse sentido, recorreu-se as memórias de moradores das comunidades bem como do entorno, buscando por meio das narrativas apresentar os acontecimentos que possibilitaram tal formação. Com o intuito de conhecer a formação dos grupos, realizou-se uma reconstituição das transformações sentidas em Garopaba desde sua fundação até a atualidade, definindo o lugar dos afro-brasileiros nessa dinâmica, dando visibilidade aos mesmos, diferente de outras abordagens já publicadas sobre o lugar. No decorrer do estudo, procurou-se enfatizar aspectos das vivências cotidiana dos grupos, dando especial atenção as diferentes festividades que contribuem para manter vivos os laços com as experiências vividas. Os estudos que abrangem a problemática afro-brasileira encontram lugar de destaque na contemporaneidade. Assim, para dar sustentação teórica à pesquisa, trabalhou-se com as categorias: Identidade / Identificação, Memória e Experiências. A construção identitária desses grupos não está naturalmente dada, ela é construída por meio de escolhas e confrontos, ou seja, na atualidade existe uma constante luta por visibilidade e reconhecimento.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superio
