The viniculture in Santa Catarina highlands is characterized by late harvest, compared to traditional Brazilian wine regions. However, the high availability of soil nitrogen coupled with the use of rootstock P-1103 generally promote excessive growth on the vines, which favors the incidence of diseases and decreases the grape quality. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of intercropping vines with different green cover crops on the nutritional status, vegetative vigor, yield and grape characteristics of the vine.
