The nanostructured calcium phosphate bioceramics have shown importance in bone repair biomaterials for its chemical and crystallographic similarity with bone tissue crystalline structure, increasing their relevance in orthopedics, dentistry and bone healing. These biomaterials have interconnected microporous nanostructure, made of thin grains and micropores, which favor their use as synthetic matrix in recuperation of injure bone. In vitro cell culture is a value tool for studying the mechanisms whereby biomaterials can cause adverse reactions in cell level, indicating their potential use at medical practice.
