Coping with Information Overload: A Business Perspective

Study examines the sources and origins of information overload, its effects on knowledge workers, and its overall implications for business companies. The main argument presented in this study is that information overload is not a singular issue but that it arises out of a combination of excessive amount of both sought information and supplied information (i.e. interruptions and distractions). An empirical study conducted as a part of the research revealed that information overload is a widespread problem at modern workplace.
