HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN PPKN DI KELAS XI SMA N1 AMBARAWA SEMESTER 1 TAHUN AJARAN 2017/2018

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant positive relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Student Learning Outcomes in PPKn Subjects in Class XI SMA N 1 Ambarawa semester 1 of the 2017/2018 academic year. This study uses quantitative research methods with the type of correlation research to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes. Data collection techniques use documentation studies to collect student learning outcomes data from student report cards, and WLEIS emotional intelligence questionnaires to collect students' emotional intelligence data. Data analysis used nonparametric statistics, namely product moment correlation statistics. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Student Learning Outcomes in PPKn Subjects. This is evident from the results of the correlation test obtained correlation coefficient of 0.161 and sig 0.044 <0.05 means that the higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the learning outcomes, and R Square or the coefficient of determination of 0.26 means that the emotional intelligence contribution of 26% of the results learn. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Kecerdasan Emosional Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Mata Pelajaran PPKn di Kelas XI SMA N 1 Ambarawa semester 1 tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi untuk menguji hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data hasil belajar siswa dari nilai rapor siswa, dan kuesioner kecerdasan emosional WLEIS untuk mengumpulkan data kecerdasan emosional siswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik nonparametris, yaitu statistik korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Kecerdasan Emosional Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Mata Pelajaran PPKn. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji korelasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,161 dan sig 0,044 < 0,05 artinya semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional maka semakin tinggi pula hasil belajarnya, serta R Square atau koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,26 artinya kontribusi kecerdasan emosional sebesar 26% terhadap hasil belajar.
