The International Map Exhibition was organized at the 25th International Cartographic Conference (ICA), which was held from July 3 to July 8, 2011 in Paris in France. Countries members of the International Cartographic Association were invited to participate. Croatian cartography was successfully introduced at the previous conferences held in Cologne, Barcelona, Stockholm, Ottawa, Beijing, Durban, A Coruña, Moscow and Chile.
