Along with the issue of climate change which is characterized by an increase in global temperature, the sea surface temperatures (SST) also allegedly helped change that has direct and consequential to the phenomenon of coral bleaching that occurred in the waters Pasumpahan, Sibonta and several other areas in West Sumatra. The purpose of this study was to identify anomalies in the sea surface temperature in the waters Pasumpahan and Sibonta due to the influence of the phenomenon of Indian Ocean Dipole.
