Four sediment cores, drilled at Younga and Ouadrane Sebkhas (Hachichina wetland), were selected for micropalaeontological, sedimentological, geochronological and geochemical investigation coupled to hierarchical cluster and correspondence analysis. Our research aimed at reconstructing the past biodiversity, the Holocene palaeoenvironmental evolution and the responsible forcing.
