Exploraciones sobre las diversidades desde la literatura infantil: un primer acercamiento

Literature is a fundamental piece to defend ourselves from everyday life and violence in which all people are immersed. Sometimes we forget that this reality does not treat children with kindness, but as their peers showing the harshness that exists in society and proving that at their young age, children live violations of their human rights. This makes us reflect on the role of children's literature in this society and how it is a fundamental tool for cultural change, which, in conjunction with international laws and treaties, enhance the efforts that exist already so that children are not victims of violence. Children's literature breaks with adult centrism, to become a space that values ​​human life, that understands the complexity of our constitution as a plural society and the diversities in which all people are immersed.La literatura es una pieza fundamental para defendernos de la cotidianidad y la violencia en la que todas las personas estamos inmersas. En ocasiones olvidamos que esta realidad no trata a las y los niños con gentileza, sino como sus pares mostrando la crudeza que existe en la sociedad y probando que a su corta edad las y los niños vivan violaciones a sus derechos humanos. Lo anterior nos hace reflexionar sobre el papel de la literatura infantil en esta sociedad y cómo ésta es una herramienta fundamental para el cambio cultural, que acompañada de leyes y tratados internacionales se suman a los esfuerzos que existen para que las y los niños no sean víctimas de violencia. La literatura infantil, rompe con el adultocentrismo, para convertirse en un espacio que valore la vida humana, que comprenda la complejidad de nuestra constitución como una sociedad plural y las diversidades en las que todas las personas estamos inmersas
