PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL

This study aimed to determine the social skills of students using cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. This research was a classroom action research. The research activities ware conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, which was aimed to improve the quality of learning. The subjects were junior high school students in class VIIA Setia Budi Teluk Betung school 2016/2017 year as many as 25 students. Data collection tool used observation sheets of social skills. The results of reflection for each cycle and for the observation of social skills in each cycle are the basic improvement for the next cycle. Here is the result of observation of social skills with details of the increase in the average acquisition persikus as follows: First cycle with details of the percentage of 38.9%, Cycle II with details of the percentage of 58.9%, then Cycle III increased with a percentage of 78.3%. The results showed that: there is an increase in social skills after each cycle using the model of cooperative learning Group Investigation in Social Studies.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan sosial siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tidakan kelas. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa di kelas VIIA SMP Setia Budi teluk betung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 25 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan keterampilan sosial. Hasil refleksi setiap siklus serta hasil observasi keterampilan sosial di setiap siklus menjadi dasar perbaikan pada siklus berikutnya. Berikut merupakan hasil Observasi keterampilan sosial dengan rincian kenaikan rata-rata perolehan persikus sebagai berikut: Siklus I dengan rincian presentase 38,9 %, Siklus II dengan rincian presentase 58,9 %, kemudian Siklus III mengalami kenaikan dengan presentase 78,3 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat peningkatan keterampilan sosial disetiap siklus setelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS).Kata kunci: Keterampilan Sosial, Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation,Pembelajaran IPS
